¿Cómo estas? me llamo Tamara y mi apellido es Matrenza. Soy maltesa. Mi madre se llama Margaret y ella es maltesa también. Mi padre se llama David, y el también es de Malta. Hoy es el cumpleaños de mi hermana pequeña, elle cumple 10 años. Mi hermana se llama Katryna. Yo le regalé un ipod y un altavoz, ella se puso muy contenta con los regalos. Yo he vivido en muchos países. Hasta que tuve 9 años yo viví en Malta. Fui a una escuela que se llama San Andrea School, mi papá fundó esa escuela. Entonces nos mudamos a Munich, Alemania. Nos quedamos ahí hasta que tuve 12 años. En Alemania fui al Munich Internacional School (MIS). Después nos mudamos a Riyadh, Arabia Saudita. En Arabia Saudita yo fui a una escuela que se llama (AIS-R). Sin embargo, después de un año nos teníamos que mudar otra vez, porque vivimos en alarma, esa fue la urbanización que bombardearon. Aunque eso fue una experiencia horrible, yo me puse muy triste y dolorida cuando nos fuimos de Arabia Saudita, porque me encantó vivir allí. Cuando yo tuve 13 años nos mudamos a Bahrein. Solamente se fueron mi mamá, mi hermanita y yo, mi papá se tenía que quedar allí un año más. Nos mudamos sin el porque el país estaba demasiado inseguro. En Bahrein fui a un colegio que se llama Bahrein School. Yo adoré Bahrein y me costo mucho irme otra vez después de un año. Ahora vivo en Dubai, con padres y mi hermana. Yo voy a la escuela Dubai American Acadmey. Mi abuelo se murió hace un año el lunes pasado. Esa es la razón porque estaba entristecida la semana pasada. Yo he convivido muchas experiencias emocionales y a veces los tiempos eran duros, pero yo no me arrepiento ni de un solo día porque me ha hecho a lo que soy hoy en día.

I think that blogs do help, however they take up a lot of time. Being ib students we have a lot of commitments and therefore, blogs may be seen as extra work, an that may be why some do not have the initiative to write other than given assignments. On the other hand, writing blogs and receiving comments does help as we practice the language more, and read material which we then have to translate. Although blogs themselves may aid I feel that the blogs have been taking up a lot of class time which I feel we can not afford, as blogs do not help us in understanding the set curriculum but help us in broadening our vocabulary. Thus, I feel that blogs do enhance our learning, however should not be a day to day thing but should be  weekly assignments, were we can write and reply at a slower rate; as currently I feel that I cant keep up with it the way I wish I could.
